    What about ahrefs and backlinkswatch? They are free to use?

    Ahref is paid tool while backlink watch is a free tool but it will not show you all hidden backlinks of the site. To do details study of any site backlinks you need to have paid tools access like ahref, semrush, and cognitive SEO.
