In stock markets there is Bull and Bear. Bullish people say stock markets will go up and Bearish people say stock markets will go down.

In reality there are 700 Kg Grizzly bears and no bull in the world can stand a 700 Kg Bear. In fact Polar Bears grow to 12 feet tall and 1100 Kg.

Going by the 2 examples, Bearish people will win in stock markets.

The concept that stock markets will go up is 100% wrong when they involve Bulls and Bears in financial world.

Dow Jones has gone up +13,700 since March 2009. The 700 Kg bear in Hungry. Angel

The Bull and bear are the renowned terminologies used in stock exchange as Bull market mean the market will rise and there is very less chance of loss as bear market is quite opposite as in bear market the stock exchange people thinks that market will fall or crash.

These are some well known terms which are used in stock exchange market, according to your statement, it means, that by meaning of Bull Market they mean the market will rise and there will be very less chances of loss, ad compared to bear market which is opposite of the Bull Market, it means the experts in the stock exchange market believes the market will fail or crash. So Bull Market term is used for Market Rise and Bear Market means the market will crash.
